About

I've always preferred working with my hands and my love of clay and pottery has been with me from childhood.

In 2013, my husband and I moved to LA and lived on a street called Sixth Street. While there, for the first time in many years, I was able to really focus on ceramics and ended up selling my pieces in boutique shops in Santa Monica and Venice. In 2018 we moved back to the UK and I set up my full working studio in the garden.

I adore the natural colours and textures of clay so I like to keep my pieces quite simple. When glazing I allow the bare clay to shine through and use the glaze simply to help bring a tactility to my ceramics. My pieces are mainly wheel thrown but I also love hand building and so I spend my time doing a mixture of the two.

The pieces I create take time and are made with love, care and attention. I hope you feel some of this when you have them in your home.
